the location of the resort was close enough to downtown, allowing easy access to popular tourist spots, but away from the hustle and bustle. the room was comfortable and nicely appointed, providing a pleasant stay. the service provided by the staff was exceptional, as they were friendly, helpful, and attentive. the breakfast options offered a variety of delicious choices to start the day. I also enjoyed the stunning view of the Straits from my room and had a lovely time exploring the facilities, including the swimming pool and restaurant.
The resort lacked updated amenities that are expected for a modern traveler.

The rooms had comfortable beds and clean linens. The holiday decorations around the grounds were beautiful and provided a festive atmosphere.
The room was very old and outdated, and the bathroom was in need of major renovations. The HVAC system was loud and kept turning off and on throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.

Had a great time during our Christmas vacation at a cozy hotel in a remote island that can only be accessed by ferry. the hotel offered a variety of activities such as kite flying, biking, swimming, and mini-golf which all made the stay even more fun. the hotel also had a concierge service which surprised our daughter on her birthday and told us unique facts about the island. the hotel offered kids to eat for free and was located in the heart of the island which allowed us to easily explore neighboring attractions.
The hotel should pay attention to the pool deck and hot tub area as it has been needing repairs for quite some time. the bathroom was too small and lacked an exhaust fan which made it hard to keep humidity levels down.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the value for money was exceptional. We were able to book a room at a reasonable price, especially considering the beautiful view of Mackinac Straits that we had from our room. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. The rooms were recently remodeled and very clean, with working amenities and comfortable beds. Lastly, the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that there was something for everyone's taste.
All aspects of our stay were more than satisfactory.
